Barry Frieslander is a nationally recognised Mediator with a proven commercial background, who prides himself at being an astute lateral thinking problem solver.

Barry has a deep understanding of the commercial realities of complex business, while also possessing the life-experiences to overcome the emotional dynamics of high-value matrimonial financial disputes. This unique set of skills increases the likelihood of settlement between the parties.

Barry has acted as sole Mediator in a wide range of commercial and non-commercial disputes, to date, the largest being EUR 295m. This complex multi-party, cross-border dispute, achieved a negotiated settlement agreement several hours less than scheduled!

After twenty years as a stockbroker and well known technical analyst, Barry decided to leave the financial markets and become a consultant with a wide ranging investment vehicle. At the same time, he initiated his own residential and commercial property development company. Barry is married and lives in Cheshire. He has wide ranging interests including overseas travel, photography, music, reading and martial arts. He is also author of Analysis of the Financial Markets – A Practical Guide (published by the London Stock Exchange Securities Institute).
